I should be banned from shopping directly after Easter. Why? Because in my head it’s a great idea to buy a huge quantity of sale priced chocolate. (I have great plans to eat it slowly over the rest of the year. After all, who wouldn’t be happy for store of delicious Cadbury East Eggs in September right?) But apparently the ideas and intentions in my head and and reality are slightly out of phase in my universe. (Everyone gasp in surprise.) I see the plan. I know all the steps to make the plan a success…but somehow I still end up knuckle deep in the last cream egg surrounded by wrappers and wondering why my stomach hurts.
In other news, pink KD tastes the same as regular KD, and boiling Easter eggs in your KD pot make everything else you boil for a while pink. Those two statements may or may not be related.
Seriously, how did I end up this way?
Writing Exercise:
Why are You, You? Who shaped your life. Think back to each decade of your life and choose a person who influenced who you became. Early on in life it may be a parent or sibling. Later a teacher, friend, or even a bully. Choose one person from each decade of your life and write a paragraph about how each person shaped the you that you are today. Then, next time you write about a character, think about their influences. Happy writing.
